Indulgence: Holiday at Home

In the laughing times we know that we are lucky,
and in the quiet times
we know that we are blessed...
And we will not be alone.

I love long breaks.  If you are fortunate to have some time off for the holidays you may be able to do some catch-up on some of your “have-tos” and “want-tos”.

I’m thrilled to have a little bit time away from work to be with with my family over the holidays.  We considered going away for the break but decided to take the time and simply relax and indulge in being at home.

My kids are having a great time learning to sing some new songs, watching their favourite movies and playing with all the toys that don’t get much play during the school season.  My husband is enjoying his music, chilling with his ukelele and Youtube.

As for me…I’m going to spend most of my time in my pajamas read whatever I want…ahhh, bliss!

What are you reading or watching over the holiday break?

I hope you find time to rest and rejuvenate as well.

To enjoy good health,
to bring true happiness to one's family,
to bring peace to all,
one must first discipline and control one's own mind.
If a man can control his mind
he can find the way to Enlightenment,
and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.
