Love Your Creative Space: 8 Uplifting Cubicle Ideas

Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.
~ Dalai Lama

Working in a cubicle doesn’t have to be boring and drab.  Sure, the cover picture might be a little over-the-top but it is definitely a lot more interesting than some of the bland half-walled cubicles that I have had my share of.

There is a lot of potential to be had in your personal work space.   (Check out my other post on Zen Workspace Ideas.)

Consider some of these uplifting cubicle ideas to bring your personal touch, energy and atmosphere to your work space.

Choose uplifting things to surround yourself with...

Create the feeling of open space with mirrors...

Use printed fabrics pinned to the baffle fabric to add colour and dimension to bland walls...

via
Keep organized with easy access to containers and filing systems...

Add additional mood lighting with lamps and interesting shades...
via

Literally, change the air around you by picking up an air purifier with ionizer and a personal humidifier...

Use the walls to create storage space by placing shelving and hooks...

Make your office supplies part of the decor...

Make the most of your space...

The way is not in the sky.
The way is in the heart.

  1. I love, love, LOVE the first picture. It even has a "C" on the rug just for me! Unfortunately, I don't think I could get away with "Extreme Makeover: Cube Edition" at my "daylight" job. lol Great ideas though.
